What ‘left’ and ‘right’ really mean - The WP → washingtonpost.com

I reaffirm that I am an independent.  I am neither left nor right.  I am on the side of logic, and whether or not a particular party is on the side of logic on a particular issue is dependent on the time of day.  Left, right; democrat, republican; liberal, conservative mean nothing.

Thankfully, we now no longer have to worry if Google is telling the truth when they say “do no evil”.  We can know they are lying.

This is bad news for me.  The probably scrubbed missions would provide funding for my Ph.D. work if I were to go to Texas A&M.  No missions, no funding.  Yet another instance of the beurocrats with no scientific background dictating scientific progress and policy.  It’s inane.
